WARRANTY

EGR Warranty Conditions

Your EGR water tank is guaranteed against any manufacturing defects for 10 years from the date of purchase. This warranty is only valid at the time of the original purchase, it is not transferable. The original purchaser should establish the original purchase date via the sales slip, sales receipt or other evidence. Damaged or lost receipts or sales slips are not valid and will not be honoured. Damage to the tank caused by accident, misuse, do-it-yourself repairs and/or faulty installation is not covered by this warranty. A suitably qualified trades person must install any EGR tank to prevent voiding of this warranty. All other claims of any nature are not covered. This warranty is only valid to tanks purchased and installed in Australia in accordance with stated Government and Council regulations and by-laws.

NOTE: We recommend looking at the largest size tank that will fit into the area available. If you plan to connect the tank to your home for toilet and /or the washing machine use, the tank(s) must be suitably fitted by a licensed plumber.

Water Tank Delivery

EGR tanks are usually delivered by one of our distributors. We recommend that delivery is carefully arranged with your supplier at the time of purchase. To ensure safe and efficient delivery and location of your EGR tank, topics to discuss include access for the tank and delivery vehicle, idiosyncrasies of tank location, (e.g. a crane may be required), safe storage of the tank prior to installation and any handling assistance that may be required.

Government Rebates & Building Codes Requirements

To encourage conservation of water various levels of Government from Federal, through State and Local levels offer substantial rebates to assist in meeting the costs of purchasing and installing tanks and associated accessories for existing dwellings and buildings. As rebates and conditions vary from region to region we recommend you check what is available in your area. Many building codes across Australia now call for the installation of tanks as mandatory or as part of a pathway to meeting energy efficiency ratings when a dwelling or commercial property is built or renovated. Again, as these regulations vary by region it is best to discuss this with your builder, local Government and building authorities.
